· I will strive to provide your child with an environment that will be caring, fun and stimulating. I will implement ideas from the Early Years Foundation Stage for all children up until their 5th birthday. Please ask if you would like to see a copy of the framework.
There are 7 areas of Learning and Development, they are split into 2 parts –
1. The Prime areas – which are for all children and will always be the main focus of planning and activities for babies and children under 3
2. The Specific areas – which are mostly used for older children (over 3’s) but are also relevant for younger children.

Activities and Types of Play provided
I offer a wide range of toys and activities for all age ranges:
· Creative play – baking, arts and crafts, puppets, junk modeling, dressing up
· Role play – shops, doctors/nurses/vets, restaurants
· Imaginative play – dressing up, movement and music, small world
· Outdoor play – visits to the park, garden swing and slide pirate ship, sand and water tray, large scale painting and drawing
· Construction – Mega blocs, lego, wooden bricks, play dough, junk modeling
· Movement – music and dancing
